Sleep Apnea & Hypertension Study

About This Study

We are conducting a research study to learn more about a new medication called lorundrostat for people who have moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and high blood pressure (hypertension). The goal of the study is to see whether this medication can improve sleep apnea symptoms and help manage blood pressure.

In this study, participants will take either the study drug or a placebo. Neither you nor the study team will know which one you’re taking during each treatment period. Everyone in the study will have the chance to receive both the study drug and the placebo at different times.

The study will last about 13 weeks and includes:

  • A 3-week screening period to confirm eligibility.

  • Two treatment periods (4 weeks each), separated by a 2-week break.

  • During the treatment periods, participants will take either lorundrostat or placebo once a day by mouth.

By joining, participants receive study-related medical care and help researchers explore new treatment options for sleep apnea and high blood pressure.
