Alzheimer's Psychosis (ACP-204) Study

About This Study

We are conducting a research program to test a new medication called ACP-204 for adults with Alzheimer’s disease psychosis (hallucinations and delusions). The goal is to learn how safe the medication is, what dose works best, and whether it helps reduce symptoms.

The program is made up of three separate studies:

  • Study 1 (Phase 2): Tests two different doses of ACP-204 (30 mg and 60 mg) compared to placebo to see which works best.

  • Study 2A and Study 2B (Phase 3): Larger studies designed to confirm the results from Study 1, testing either one or both of the doses against placebo.

Each study will run on its own and will include:

  • A screening period (up to 7 weeks) to confirm eligibility.

  • A treatment period (6 weeks) where participants receive either ACP-204 or placebo without knowing which one.

  • A safety follow-up (about 30 days) for participants not continuing into a long-term extension study.

  • A final follow-up if a participant leaves the study early.

By joining, participants will receive study-related care at no cost while helping researchers explore a potential new treatment for Alzheimer’s disease psychosis.
