Alzheimer's Psychosis (Adept-4) Study
About This Study
We are conducting a research study to test a new medication called KarXT for people with Alzheimer’s disease who are experiencing psychosis (hallucinations or delusions). The purpose of this study is to see how safe the medication is and whether it helps reduce symptoms of psychosis.
In this study, adults with mild to severe Alzheimer’s disease and moderate to severe psychosis will be randomly assigned to receive either KarXT or a placebo (a pill with no active medication). Neither participants nor the study team will know which one is being given during the study.
